The Perfect Roman Blind: How Shawna Styled Her Guest Bedroom with Material World

We were delighted to get the opportunity to collaborate with Shawna who you will know from Instagram as sherlockshome_meath. Shawna lives with her husband in their newly built home. Shawna’s interior design style is quite modern, she also loved the idea of having an open-plan loving area with lots of natural light. 

She loves earthy tones and was always drawn towards green, cream and beige. We collaborated with her on her guest bedroom where she wanted it to be warm and neutral with a modern twist. 

She chose a Roman blind for her window dressing in the Natural Herringbone Cream fabric, this fabric perfectly complements her current interiors and adds the warmth to the room that she wanted to achieve. 

Shawna first heard about Material World on Instagram when she came across previous projects we had worked on with our other Content Creators. 

One of the reasons Shawna chose us was due to our large collection of fabrics, as we have fabrics to suit every interior style. 

She found the process of working with us simple. She was able to view what we had to offer online from the comfort of her own home and get the samples delivered straight to her door and the team were on hand for anything she needed. 

Shawna’s top tip when planning your window dressing is to choose a neutral colour so that it will perfectly match your interiors if you happen to change them up over time.
