A Minimalist Touch: How Viv Enhanced Her Master Bedroom with Material World’s Curtains

It was our pleasure to collaborate with Viv who you will know from Instagram as My Little Home At Number 1. Viv lives in Kildare with her husband, four grown up children and her dog. 

Viv has always had a love for interiors and when they moved into their house 24 years ago they has a blank canvas which they will able to add their own touch too. 

Viv collaborates with us on her master bedroom and she was doing it up. She wanted to keep it quite minimal so opted for a crisp white colour on the walls, white bed sheets, wooden flooring and add an accent colour with lamps and cushions. 

Viv discovered us on Instagram as many of the Content Creators she follows for interior design inspiration had got curtains and blinds from us. 

So Viv visited our showroom in Naas and was impressed by the collection of fabrics we have to offer. She chose samples and brought them home so that she could see them against her master bedroom interiors. Viv decided on the Marela Beige fabric and Marseille Navy braid which is a minimal fabric but perfect complements the accent colours in the room. 

Viv found the process in ordering made to measure curtains effortless. Once she gave her measurements and chose her fabrics her curtains were made in a matter of weeks. 

Viv’s top tip when ordering made-to-measure curtains is the bring home as many samples as you can and see what they look like in each room.
