Material World Summer Sale

Our Material World Summer Sale is officially here, with 20% off  all of our curtains and upholstery fabrics. With this in mind we have put together this blog post to show you some of the beautiful fabrics that we have on sale this summer. 

We would first like to show you our Ticking fabric which can be used for both curtains and for upholstery when revamping some of your furniture and soft furnishings to give them a fresh look and a new lease of life. Our Ticking fabric has been a very popular choice since in arrived in our store last summer. The Ticking fabric is also available in a variety of different colours so you can be sure to find a fabric that suits your taste and your home. 

Voile fabric is also a very popular choice amongst our customers as it is the perfect fabric to provide you with privacy but also let light into your room. The voile material also gives a very soft finish to any room and can have a wave or a pinch pleat heading. To add an extra touch you can include a braid which will tie in with your interiors. These voile curtains were used in a living area with several windows and doors. Our client wanted to ensure that lots of light is able  to fill the room and with the use of voile curtains we were able to achieve this. 

Full-length wall to wall curtains are a very luxurious choice as you can see from the image above. We worked with Caoimhe from House on the Border on this project. Caoimhe’s style is quite simple, understated and elegant. She chose the Cashel Off White fabric for her curtains. She then chose a pinch pleat heading and a braid which matches her interiors perfectly. 

Roman Blinds are another great choice for you home. They are practical, functional and stylish. They are perfect for small windows or busy areas of the home such as the kitchen or a childs bedroom or nursery. In the image above Triona chose the Linen Look White fabric for her little girls bedroom and added a pink braid to match the interiors in the room. 

Last but be no means least we thought that we would show you our ticking fabric in the Teal colourway. This fabric is very popular choice especially for children’s bedrooms and nurseries. It is also very versatile fabric as your will know from previously in this post it can also be used for upholstery. Here it has been used in a playroom which adds a touch of fun whilst still sticking with Triona from Cherington houses sense of style.
