Delivery & Returns

Online orders over €75 are delivered free of charge within the Republic of Ireland. Online orders less than €75 will be charged €10 for delivery within the Republic of Ireland.

Please note: As we deliver samples free of charge, the cost of samples does not contribute to our €75 free delivery threshold.

Orders will be confirmed by email as soon as possible.

As most of our fabrics are in stock we aim to fill 80% of orders within 7 working days. On the rare occasion that a particular fabric is out of stock, we will advise of the soonest delivery date or offer the option of a refund.

If orders are required urgently, please advise by email or contact us by phone.

For customers outside of Ireland please email for a delivery quotation.

If on delivery of goods you find the packaging damaged please inform the courier and state package damaged on the delivery note. When you sign and accept delivery of goods you are agreeing there is no visible damage to the package, therefore no replacement will be considered.

All goods remain the property of Material World until paid in full. Goods will be delivered to the address provided and will remain our risk until delivered. It is the customer's responsibility to be available to accept delivery and once delivery has been accepted the goods become the customer's responsibility.

Once we receive your order and payment your goods will be prepared immediately for dispatch. Therefore any cancellations where the fabric has been cut will not be considered.

Fabrics will be checked and double-checked prior to dispatch. However, if the customer finds a fault in the fabric, the fabric in question may be returned to Material World. If a fault is established, a refund or replacement will be offered and the cost of postage will be refunded.

Natural blemishes occur in silks, cotton and linens. These are not faults but are a feature of natural fabrics.

Without notice, we reserve the right to remove or change any product.

Please note shades can vary slightly from the image on our website or from the sample supplied.

Our products are not fire retardant. For domestic seating or commercial use, any fabric will need to receive the appropriate fire retardant treatment. We can supply a quote for the standard of treatment required on request.

Before placing an order we advise customers to avail themselves of our sampling service. Our samples are charged at €1.50 each and are delivered free of charge to Ireland.

Where customers are making a fabric purchase, Material World can calculate the amounts of fabric required. Please be aware that is our recommendation and is not binding. Please e-mail fabric reference, pole or rail size, finished length and style required (e.g. French Pleat, Pencil Pleat, Eyelets etc. ).

Where fabric has been cut, returns will not be considered.
