The Beauty & Simplicity of Roman Blinds

Bespoke Roman blinds make the perfect window dressing for any room in the home.  They are simple, practical and functional but are also very beautiful and just as effective as a luxury pair of made-to-measure curtains. In this blog post, we would like to share some of the beautiful Roman Blinds that our clients have designed with us that have added a finishing touch to their already very beautiful homes.

For this client's home, we helped them to plan the window dressing for their master bathroom. The interiors in this bathroom are a beautiful brown marble and the focal point in the room is the wall where the window is placed. The interiors of this bathroom are quite eye-catching and very luxurious with this in mind we felt that a very simple window dressing would be best suited. The client chose a Roman Blind which sits neatly inside the window. The fabric they chose is a beautiful tan shade along with a matching braid. This fabric is not available online just yet but is available upon request.

This sitting room has many small windows and each of the windows has a window frame around it. We know that Roman Blinds would be the perfect addition to this room as curtains would look too much. The interiors in the room are a beautiful shade of grey with a mix of navy soft furnishings. Our client wanted grey Roman Blinds to match the paint colour on the wall. To complement this colour our client chose the Dorset Herringbone Grey fabric with a matching braid.

Roman blinds are perfect for a child's bedroom as they are simple, practical and functional. For this little girl’s bedroom, we collaborated with Digital Creator LaurenK_28, Lauren has a great imagination and a keen eye for detail so we were very excited to collaborate with her on this project. Lauren chose to have the blinds sitting outside the window frame and chose the fabric, Linen Look White. To complement the interiors within the room Lauren chose a pink braid to add a finishing touch to the Roman Blinds.

We also collaborated with Lauren for her living area. Here Lauren wanted to keep her interiors quite simple and stick with a neutral colour theme. The interiors in Lauren’s living area are white, cream, soft beige and grey. To tie these shades together Lauren chose the fabric Marela Herringbone Cream with a grey braid.

For this project, we collaborated with Digital Creator Sinéad De Butléir. Sinéad had just moved into her beautiful new how when we collaborated with her which made us very excited to work with her on this project. We helped Sinéad to dress the window in her sitting room. This window is the focal point in the room and is also a decorative feature as there is a beautiful window seat. Sinéad opted for Roman Blinds for this area as it is a bay window with a lot of key features. Sinéad chose the fabric, Marela Herringbone Two Tone Grey along with a matching braid.

As you can see from this blog post Roman blinds are a great alternative to curtains but are just as luxurious and effective. If you would like more information regarding roman blinds or curtains please call us at +353 (0)45 879 663
