Luxury sitting room curtains crafted with Ascot Stell Trellis

The sitting room is one of the most important rooms of the home. It is the place where the family gather to relax and unwind after a busy day. When planning your setting room interiors it is essential to create a calm and relaxing environment which is practical and functional. As you can see from this client’s home they created the perfect cosy environment using soft and subtle details which have made all the difference. 

This sitting room is quite large and an open space with two big windows on each side of the fireplace meaning that the windows are the focal point of the room. With this in mind, it was essential that the client choose the right window dressing as this could make or break the look of the room. As the windows are quite large and the room is open they didn’t need to worry about choosing too heavy a fabric that would block out any sunlight. Due to this, the client choose floor-length curtains in the fabric Ascot Stell Trellis.  

As you can see the fabric is very luxurious. It matches the colour grey on the wall perfectly and has a velvet finish with a stell trellis pattern. The client also choose a pinch pleat finish which is a firm favourite both for our customers and the team here at Material World. It is the perfect finishing touch for any set of curtains.

To complete these curtains our client chose a matching braid and tie-backs again this adds a sense of luxury which ties the room altogether.
