Laura from Making A Home: Her Roman Blinds Journey

Here at Material World, we were delighted to collaborate with Laura who is an Interior Designer and Digital Creator who runs the Instagram account laura_makingahome. 

We collaborated with Laura by helping her design her own bespoke made-to-measure Roman Blinds for her dining room.  

Laura has always had a passion for interior design and nothing brings her more pleasure than seeing a vision come to life. When planning the interiors for Laura’s own home it was important to her that she honoured that her home was a new build but also bringing in the traditional style that she loves so much. 

Laura’s dining room includes panelling and window frames which she wanted Roman Blinds to sit perfectly inside. Laura chose the beautiful Zen Natural fabric which complements her existing interiors and matches her sense of modern and traditional style. 

Laura really enjoyed her experience working with Material World as she found it so easy and convenient to chat with our team on Instagram, browse our collection of fabrics on our website, choose samples and get them delivered directly to her door. Once her decision was made all she had to do was sit back relax and wait for her Roman Blinds to be created.
