Transforming a Little Girl's Bedroom with Luxury Ticking Pink Striped Curtains

In this blog post, Digital Creator Triona from Cherington House chats with us about her curtains and how they transformed her little girl's bedroom. 

Here at Material World, we were delighted to yet again collaborate with Digital Creator Triona who runs the Instagram account Cherington House. This time we collaborated with Triona by helping her to design bespoke made-to-made curtains for her little girl's bedroom.

Triona lives in Kilkenny with her husband and three children. Triona and her husband built their home in 2018 and named it after the street they lived on in London as this brings back many happy memories. 

Triona has always loved interior design and putting her own touches on all the homes she has lived in. When designing the interiors of Triona’s home she stuck to a neutral colour palette to create a calm and relaxing environment. 

When it came to designing curtains for Triona’s little girl’s bedroom Triona wanted to keep the colour palette similar to that that is carried throughout their home. Triona’s little girl’s bedroom is a soft pink shade. To complement this Triona chose the most beautiful pink Ticking fabric for floor-length curtains with a pinch pleat finish.
