Georgian-Inspired Interiors with a Modern Twist

Lauren, the creative force behind the Instagram account Pemberley Build, shares her journey of designing and building her dream home. She lives with her husband, their young son, and two dogs. Three years ago, they moved into their self-build, designing every aspect of their contemporary Georgian home with a modern twist. Lauren's passion for interior design played a crucial role in their home's aesthetic, reflecting her long-held dream to create a personalised living space.

The kitchen, as the heart of their home, needed to be both functional and inviting. Lauren envisioned a space where family gatherings could comfortably take place, requiring soft furnishings that were neutral yet warm, timeless, and harmonious with the home's overall design. Her goal was to find window treatments that complemented the existing kitchen interiors while maintaining versatility for future design changes.

Lauren discovered Material World on Instagram through previous collaborations with other Content Creators. Impressed by our offerings, she decided to collaborate with us to create the perfect window dressing for her kitchen. She chose a Roman Blind in the Marela Herringbone Two Tone grey fabric, a choice that perfectly matched her kitchen's aesthetic.

The process was seamless and convenient for Lauren, especially important as she was caring for a newborn at the time. From measuring the window to selecting the fabric, all steps were conducted from the comfort of her home. We provided a user-friendly experience, making it easy for Lauren to achieve her vision without any added stress.

The Roman Blind in Marela Herringbone Two Tone grey fabric became a beautiful and functional addition to Lauren's kitchen. It met her criteria for a neutral yet warm and timeless piece that could adapt to any future interior changes. The high-quality fabric and craftsmanship of the blind added to the overall elegance and comfort of the kitchen.

Lauren's key advice for choosing window dressings is to opt for neutral fabrics. This ensures that as interior trends and personal tastes evolve, the window treatments will remain a harmonious part of the home décor. Her experience with Material World reinforced this belief, highlighting the importance of quality and timeless design.

Lauren's collaboration with Material World resulted in a successful enhancement of her kitchen space, making it a welcoming hub for family activities. She highly recommends Material World for our excellent products and service and looks forward to future projects with us.
