Cosy & Cool Roman Blinds with Vicki from Elibank House
Let us introduce you to Digital Creator Vicki who owns the Instagram account Elibank House.
Vicki and her husband had always dreamed of building and owning their own home. As Vicki is a firm believer in doing things once and doing them right they spent many years planning the design of their dream home before getting started.
From a very young age, Vicki had a huge passion for interior design and used to make mood boards by cutting out images from her favourite interior design magazines and saving beautiful images in folders on her phone and laptop of homes and interior design ideas that inspired her.
When planning Elibank House Vicki took a similar approach by keeping a corkboard where they would pin beautiful spaces or points of interest which helped to shape the design and function of their dream home.
Vicki discovered Material World on Instagram and straight away started saving images as inspiration. When the time came to plan the interiors for her home Vicki went straight back to that folder and ordered samples.
The room Vicki collaborated with us on is her sitting room which is just off the kitchen which is the heart of the home. Due to this, she wanted to make the room look and feel cosy but look good. Vicki spoke about this during her virtual Design Consultation and also informed us that she has splayed windows which needed to be taken into consideration when taking the measurements of her windows for her blinds. Vicki chose this beautiful soft grey fabric for her Roman blinds which will be live on our website very soon.
